Automatic Sprinkler Systems

Automatic sprinkler systems are safety devices designed to detect and control fires. They consist of pipes installed in ceilings or walls with small nozzles (sprinklers) at intervals. When a fire occurs, the heat melts a glass bulb or activates a sensor, automatically releasing water directly at the fire source. This rapid response helps suppress the fire early, reducing damage and increasing safety. The system is usually connected to a water supply and can operate independently or alongside other fire protection measures, providing continuous, automatic fire suppression without the need for human intervention.
