Autologous Tissue Grafts

Autologous tissue grafts involve using a patient’s own tissue to repair or replace damaged areas. This means that a small piece of tissue—such as skin, muscle, or bone—is taken from one part of the body and transplanted to another site needing repair. Because the tissue comes from the patient, there's a lower risk of rejection or infection, and it often heals better. These grafts are commonly used in reconstructive surgery, burn treatment, and dental procedures to promote natural healing and restore function with minimal complications.
