Autocratic Regimes
Autocratic regimes are systems of government where power is concentrated in a single ruler or a small group, with little to no input from the general population. In these regimes, leaders often make decisions unilaterally, limit political freedoms, and suppress dissent to maintain control. They lack democratic processes like free elections and separate branches of government. Examples include monarchies, dictatorships, and military juntas. Such regimes prioritize stability and authority over individual rights, often resulting in limited political pluralism and authoritarian rule.
