Audio signals
Audio signals are representations of sound that can be recorded, transmitted, or played back. When a sound is produced, such as someone speaking or music playing, it creates vibrations in the air. These vibrations are captured by microphones, which convert them into electrical signals. These signals encode information about the sound's pitch, loudness, and duration. When played through speakers, the electrical signals are converted back into vibrations, recreating the original sound waves. Essentially, audio signals are a way to digitally or electronically represent sound for various applications, including recording, broadcasting, and streaming.
