The Auca, now known as the Huaorani, are an indigenous people native to the Amazon rainforest in Ecuador. Traditionally, they live in small, close-knit communities and rely on hunting, fishing, and gathering for their subsistence. They maintain a deep connection to their environment, respecting the rainforest as vital for their way of life.
