ATRAP experiment

The ATRAP experiment is a scientific project at CERN focused on studying antihydrogen, which is the antimatter counterpart of hydrogen. The goal is to produce and trap antihydrogen atoms, then examine their properties, such as how they behave in gravity and how their behavior compares to regular hydrogen. Understanding these properties can help scientists test fundamental theories about matter and antimatter, and explore why our universe is dominated by matter. In essence, ATRAP aims to learn more about the symmetry between matter and antimatter and the fundamental laws of physics.
