Atlanta Civic Center

The Atlanta Civic Center was a large venue in downtown Atlanta used for concerts, theater performances, conventions, and sports events. Opened in 1967, it hosted many cultural and community events over the years. The center featured an arena capable of accommodating various sizes of audiences and a theatre for smaller performances. In 2014, the facility closed and was later demolished in 2021, making way for new development.
