Athenagoras

Athenagoras was a Christian philosopher and theologian from the 2nd century who is known for his thoughtful defenses of Christianity against pagan critics. He emphasized the rationality of Christian beliefs, arguing that faith and reason complement each other. Athenagoras also promoted Christian unity and respect for other religions, advocating for understanding rather than hostility.
