ATCA (Automatic Transfer Control Arrangement)

An Automatic Transfer Control Arrangement (ATCA) is a safety system used in electrical power setups to automatically switch the power supply from a primary source to a backup source during a failure or abnormal condition. It monitors the health of the main power source and, if it detects an issue, seamlessly and automatically transfers the load to the backup, ensuring continuous, reliable power without manual intervention. Once the main source is restored and stable, the ATCA switches back, maintaining constant power supply and operational safety.
