ATC (Air Traffic Control)

Air Traffic Control (ATC) is a service that manages the safe and orderly flow of air traffic. ATC personnel, known as air traffic controllers, monitor aircraft in the sky and on the ground, guiding pilots during takeoff, landing, and while flying to ensure they maintain safe distances from one another. They communicate via radio, providing directions and information regarding weather, flight paths, and other aircraft. Their primary goal is to prevent collisions and ensure that flights operate smoothly, thereby enhancing safety in the busy airspace above airports and throughout the country's airways.
