At-Risk Youth

At-risk youth are young people who face increased challenges or circumstances that make it harder for them to succeed or stay safe. These risks can include poverty, family issues, poor school performance, or exposure to violence or crime. Such factors can negatively influence their development, education, and future opportunities. Identifying at-risk youth allows communities and service providers to offer targeted support and resources to help them overcome obstacles, build resilience, and achieve positive outcomes. The goal is to prevent problems before they escalate, fostering healthy, productive adulthood.
