Association for the Advancement of Health Education (AAHE)

The Association for the Advancement of Health Education (AAHE) was a professional organization dedicated to promoting effective health education practices. It aimed to support health educators by providing resources, setting standards, and advocating for health education in various settings like schools, workplaces, and communities. AAHE helped professionals stay informed about the latest research and strategies to improve public health. In 2007, AAHE merged with other organizations to form the Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE), continuing its mission under a new name to advance health education and improve health outcomes through professional development and evidence-based practices.
