Asphalt Production

Asphalt production involves heating and mixing bitumen—an oil-based binder—with aggregates like crushed stone, sand, and gravel to create asphalt concrete used for roads and pavements. The process starts by extracting raw materials, then heating them to high temperatures (around 150-180°C) to make the components workable. The heated aggregates and bitumen are mixed thoroughly to produce a consistent, durable material. Once prepared, the asphalt is transported and laid down on road surfaces, where it's compacted to ensure strength and longevity. This process ensures the resulting pavement can withstand traffic loads and environmental conditions efficiently.
