Ashkenazim

Ashkenazim are a Jewish ethnic group with origins in Central and Eastern Europe, forming one of the largest Jewish communities worldwide. Their cultural traditions, language (Historically Yiddish), and religious practices have distinctive features shaped by their European history. They experienced significant growth in Europe, faced centuries of persecution, and many migrated to other parts of the world, especially the United States, Israel, and Russia.
