Asexuality
Asexuality is a sexual orientation where a person experiences little to no sexual attraction to others. It doesn’t necessarily mean a person cannot have romantic feelings or relationships; many asexual individuals do have romantic attractions and form emotional bonds. Instead, their experience of sexual desire is different from the typical pattern experienced by most people. Asexuality is a valid orientation and exists on a spectrum, encompassing a range of experiences from complete lack of sexual attraction to some level of it. It’s about how someone experiences or doesn’t experience sexual desire, not their capacity for intimacy or love.
