Ascension of the Balloon

The "Ascension of the Balloon" refers to the process where a hot air or gas-filled balloon rises into the atmosphere due to buoyancy. When heated air inside the balloon becomes less dense than the surrounding cooler air, it creates an upward force. As the density difference increases, the balloon ascends. This principle is similar to how a boat floats because it displaces water, but here, the lighter, warm air displaces the cooler, denser air above. The pilot controls altitude by adjusting the internal temperature, allowing the balloon to ascend or descend accordingly.
