Aryan migration theory
The Aryan migration theory suggests that around 1500 BCE, groups of Indo-European-speaking people, often called Aryans, migrated into the Indian subcontinent from Central Asia. These migrants are believed to have brought with them new languages, cultural practices, and possibly social hierarchies, influencing early Indian civilization. The theory is based on linguistic, archaeological, and textual evidence, such as similarities between Indian and European languages and the arrival of new cultural elements. However, it remains a subject of debate among scholars, with some proposing alternative theories about the development of early Indian culture.
