Arturo Schomburg
Arturo Schomburg was a Puerto Rican historian and collector who dedicated his life to preserving and promoting African and African-American history and culture. In the early 20th century, he amassed a vast collection of books, artifacts, and documents that showcased the rich contributions of people of African descent.
