Article 101 TFEU

Article 101 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU) prohibits agreements between businesses or practices that prevent, restrict, or distort competition within the EU's internal market. This includes cartels, price-fixing, market sharing, or other collusive behaviors that harm fair competition and consumers. While some arrangements can be exempt if they benefit the economy and consumers, generally, such anti-competitive agreements are illegal. The goal is to promote a level playing field, innovation, and better choices for consumers across EU member states.
