Arthur Upham Houghton

Arthur Upham Houghton was an American art collector and diplomat, best known for his extensive collection of Chinese porcelain and Asian art. Born into a prominent family in 1905, he dedicated much of his life to preserving and studying Asian ceramics, significantly contributing to the appreciation of Asian art in the West.
