arthroscopic technique

Arthroscopic surgery is a minimally invasive procedure used to diagnose and treat joint problems. A small camera called an arthroscope is inserted through a tiny cut in the skin, allowing the surgeon to see inside the joint on a monitor. Special instruments are then used to repair or remove damaged tissue, such as torn cartilage or ligaments. Because only small incisions are needed, this technique typically results in less pain, shorter recovery time, and minimal scarring compared to traditional open surgery. It’s commonly used for joints like the knee, shoulder, and ankle.
