Arthroscopic Meniscus Surgery
Arthroscopic meniscus surgery is a minimally invasive procedure used to repair or remove damaged cartilage in the knee's meniscus, which cushions and stabilizes the joint. Using small incisions, a surgeon inserts a tiny camera called an arthroscope to view the inside of the knee. The surgeon can then trim, repair, or remove the torn meniscus tissue to relieve pain and improve knee function. The procedure typically results in less pain, smaller scars, and faster recovery compared to traditional open surgery. It is often performed on an outpatient basis, allowing patients to resume activity sooner.
