Arrhenius Plot
An Arrhenius plot is a graph that illustrates how the rate of a chemical reaction changes with temperature. It plots the natural logarithm of the reaction rate constant (ln k) against the inverse of temperature (1/T). This type of plot typically produces a straight line, and from its slope, scientists can determine the activation energy needed for the reaction to occur. Essentially, the Arrhenius plot helps us understand how temperature influences reaction speed and the energy barrier involved.
