ARQ (Automatic Repeat reQuest)

Automatic Repeat reQuest (ARQ) is a method used in data communication that ensures accurate transmission of information. When data is sent from one device to another, ARQ checks for errors. If the receiving device detects an error or does not receive the data, it automatically requests the sender to resend the data. This process continues until the data is successfully received without errors. ARQ helps maintain the integrity and reliability of communication, especially in networks where data can get lost or corrupted, such as in wireless communications and online transmissions.
