ARPANET User's Working Group

The ARPANET User's Working Group was a community of early computer network users and engineers who collaborated to develop and improve the ARPANET, the first large-scale packet-switching network. Formed in the late 1960s and early 1970s, they shared ideas, addressed technical challenges, and established protocols to ensure different computers could communicate efficiently. Their efforts laid the foundation for the modern Internet, promoting standardization and innovation in network technology. Essentially, it was a collaborative forum that helped shape the development of the world's first functioning information-sharing network.
