Army Installations

Army installations are designated areas where the U.S. Army conducts its operations, training, and support activities. These facilities include bases, training grounds, and logistical hubs that provide the essential infrastructure—such as barracks, offices, hospitals, and security—needed for soldiers to train, live, and work. They also serve as centers for planning and coordinating military missions. Essentially, army installations are the physical locations that enable the Army to effectively prepare for and carry out national defense missions.
