Armenian Church History

Armenian Church history begins with the adoption of Christianity as a state religion in 301 AD, making it one of the earliest nations to do so. Founded by apostles Thaddeus and Bartholomew, it evolved into the Armenian Apostolic Church, an independent Oriental Orthodox tradition.
