Arkansas court system

The Arkansas court system is organized into different levels. At the top is the Arkansas Supreme Court, which oversees the state's judicial matters and makes final decisions on legal issues. Below it are the Arkansas Court of Appeals, handling appeals from lower courts. The trial courts, known as Circuit Courts and District Courts, handle criminal and civil cases, with Circuit Courts dealing with more serious matters and District Courts handling misdemeanors, traffic, and small claims. The system ensures that legal disputes are fairly resolved through a structured hierarchy of courts.
