Ariadne is a character from Greek mythology, known primarily for her role in the myth of Theseus. She is the daughter of King Minos of Crete and helps Theseus navigate the Labyrinth—an intricate maze designed to hold the Minotaur—by giving him a ball of thread. This allows Theseus to find his way back after killing the creature.
