Argentine government institutions
Argentina’s government has three main branches: the executive, headed by the President who enforces laws; the legislative, consisting of Congress that makes laws including the Senate and Chamber of Deputies; and the judicial, led by the Supreme Court, which interprets laws and ensures they follow the constitution. The President also manages government departments and policies. Regional provinces have their own governors and legislatures. This system balances power, with each branch overseeing the others to maintain democracy and prevent abuse.
