Ares Project
The Ares Project was NASA's plan to develop a new family of rockets to replace the Space Shuttle and enable human exploration beyond Earth orbit, including missions to the Moon and Mars. It aimed to create powerful launch vehicles capable of carrying astronauts and cargo into deep space. Although the project was ultimately canceled in 2010 due to budget and technical challenges, it laid important groundwork for future NASA exploration plans and advancements in rocket technology.
