Arcoxia

Arcoxia, known generically as etoricoxib, is a prescription medication classified as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by selectively blocking certain enzymes called COX-2 that contribute to pain, inflammation, and swelling. This targeted action helps reduce discomfort in conditions like arthritis, acute pain, or gout, often with fewer gastrointestinal side effects than traditional NSAIDs. However, it may carry risks such as cardiovascular issues, so it should be used under medical supervision. Arcoxia is effective for managing moderate to severe pain and inflammation when prescribed appropriately.
