Archery bows

Archery bows are tools used to propel arrows by storing and releasing energy. They typically consist of a curved limb on each side connected by a central riser, with a string spanning between the limbs. When drawn back, the archer pulls on the string, bending the limbs and storing potential energy. Releasing the string transfers this energy to the arrow, pushing it forward at high speed. Bows vary in design, size, and material, including traditional wooden bows, modern compounds with pulley systems, or recurve bows that have limbs curving outward. The choice of bow impacts shooting style, power, and precision.
