Archdukes
An archduke is a noble title used primarily within the Austrian-Hungarian Empire, ranking just below a king or emperor. Historically, it signified a person who held a significant position of sovereignty or high status within the empire's hierarchy. The title "Archduke" was unique to Austria and was notably held by members of the Habsburg family, such as Archduke Franz Ferdinand. Today, it is largely historical, representing aristocratic privilege and lineage, and is used to honor those of noble birth with royal or aristocratic connections in Central Europe.
