Arc of a circle

An arc of a circle is a portion of the circle's circumference. Imagine a pizza: if you cut a slice from it, the curved edge of that slice represents an arc. It is defined by two endpoints on the circle and is part of the circle's boundary. The length of the arc depends on the angle it subtends at the center of the circle. In essence, an arc is any curved segment that connects two points along the outline of a circle, forming part of its overall structure.
