Arax River

The Arax River is a waterway that flows through Eastern Europe and Western Asia, primarily forming a border between Armenia and Turkey, as well as between Armenia and Iran. It originates in the Armenian Highlands and travels approximately 800 kilometers before joining the Kura River in Azerbaijan. The river plays an important role in regional water supply, agriculture, and ecosystems.
