Arabian frankincense
Arabian frankincense is a fragrant resin obtained by tapping the bark of specific native trees, mainly Boswellia sacra, in the Arabian Peninsula. It has been valued for thousands of years for its aromatic and medicinal properties, used in religious rituals, perfumes, and traditional medicine. When the tree's bark is cut, the resin slowly exudes and hardens into ivory-colored tears. These tears are harvested carefully to avoid harming the tree. Known for its warm, woody scent with hints of citrus and spice, Arabian frankincense is considered one of the finest and most prized varieties for its purity and rich aroma.
