Arab Conquests
The Arab Conquests, occurring mainly from the 7th to 8th centuries, were a series of military campaigns initiated by Arab Muslim armies. Following the death of the Prophet Muhammad in 632 CE, these conquests expanded the territory of Islam, spreading across the Middle East, North Africa, and into parts of Europe and Asia. The conquests were driven by religious zeal, the desire for resources, and political power. They significantly shaped world history, leading to the establishment of vast Islamic empires, the spread of Arabic culture and language, and the dissemination of Islamic teachings and law across diverse regions.
