Aqueous foam

Aqueous foam is a stable mixture of tiny bubbles formed when a cleaning or firefighting solution containing water and surfactants (soapy-like compounds) is agitated or aerated. These bubbles create a foam that can cling to surfaces, trap dirt and grease, or suppress fires. The foam’s stability depends on the chemical properties of the surfactants, which prevent the bubbles from bursting quickly. Aqueous foam is commonly used in cleaning, firefighting, and industrial applications because it effectively covers surfaces, reduces vapors, and enhances the efficiency of the cleaning or fire suppression process.
