Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF)

Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) is a specialized firefighting foam designed to extinguish flammable liquid fires, such as gasoline or oil fires. It works by creating a thin, water-based film that spreads quickly over the surface of the burning liquid, cutting off oxygen and preventing re-ignition. AFFF also contains foam concentrate that forms a barrier, helping to suppress the fire and cool the fuel.
