AQAL Model
The AQAL model, developed by philosopher Ken Wilber, is a framework for understanding human experience and reality. It organizes knowledge into five key dimensions: four quadrants (interior individual, exterior individual, interior collective, exterior collective) representing different perspectives; lines of development (like cognition or morality); levels of growth; states of consciousness; and types (personality styles). This holistic view helps integrate various perspectives—psychological, cultural, spiritual—providing a comprehensive map to understand personal growth, community dynamics, and different ways humans experience the world.
