Apostle James

Apostle James was one of Jesus Christ’s twelve closest followers, known as the apostles. There are two James in the New Testament: James, son of Zebedee, a fisherman and early disciple, and James, son of Alphaeus, also an apostle. James, son of Zebedee, was part of Jesus’ inner circle and witnessed key events like the Transfiguration. He played a significant role in spreading Christianity after Jesus’ death. Recognized as a saint in many Christian traditions, James is often associated with leadership in the early church and is traditionally believed to have traveled to spread Jesus' teachings.
