The Ape Cognition and Communication Lab studies how great apes, like chimpanzees and orangutans, think, communicate, and understand the world. Researchers explore their problem-solving skills, social behavior, and ability to use gestures or tools. The goal is to better understand how ape intelligence compares to humans and how communication has evolved over time.
