AOSIS

AOSIS, the Alliance of Small Island States, is a group of small countries primarily from the Caribbean, Pacific, and Indian Ocean. They unite to represent their common interests in global climate negotiations and sustainable development. Because these island nations are especially vulnerable to rising sea levels and climate change, AOSIS advocates for stronger policies and actions to protect their environments and communities. Their goal is to ensure that the unique challenges faced by small island states are recognized and addressed at international levels, promoting climate justice and resilience for their populations.
