Antisera

Antisera are special blood serum containing antibodies, which are proteins that help fight infections. These antibodies are produced by animals or humans after exposure to specific pathogens or their parts. When injected into a person, antisera provide immediate, passive immunity by neutralizing the harmful agents. They are used in medical treatments for certain diseases, like rabies or snake bites, or for diagnosing infections. Essentially, antisera act as a temporary defense, boosting the immune system to help control or prevent illness until the person's own immune response develops.
