Antinomianism
Antinomianism is a belief that, under certain religious or spiritual circumstances, moral laws or commandments do not apply, especially after achieving spiritual salvation. Essentially, it suggests that once a person is "saved" or spiritually free, they are not bound by traditional rules of right and wrong. This perspective can lead to the idea that moral behavior is optional, which many consider a dangerous or incorrect view. In mainstream religion, antinomianism is often contrasted with teachings emphasizing the importance of living ethically and obeying moral laws.
