Anti-theism

Anti-theism is the opposition to belief in any deity or deities. It is a philosophical stance that actively argues against religious beliefs, often viewing religion as harmful or unreasonable. Unlike atheism, which simply lacks belief in gods, anti-theism often involves opposition to organized religion and the influence it has on society. People who identify as anti-theists may seek to challenge religious ideas and promote secular, rational perspectives. Their position is based on the belief that religion can impede scientific progress, individual freedoms, or ethical development, and therefore should be critically scrutinized or opposed.
