Anti-natalism

Anti-natalism is a philosophical perspective that argues it's morally wrong to bring new humans into existence. Its core idea is that life inherently involves suffering, pain, and hardship, and therefore, avoiding birth minimizes harm. Anti-natalists believe that preventing future suffering outweighs any potential benefits of life. They often emphasize ethical considerations about consent and the environmental impact of population growth. While controversial, anti-natalism invites reflection on the moral implications of procreation, encouraging us to consider whether creating new life is an ethical responsibility or a decision that should be approached with caution.
