Anti-individualism
Anti-individualism is the philosophical view that our thoughts, beliefs, and knowledge are influenced by the social and environmental context around us. It suggests that our mental states are not just personal or internal but are shaped by the networks of social interactions, language, and cultural factors we are part of. In contrast to individualism, which emphasizes the mind as an isolated entity, anti-individualism recognizes that understanding someone’s mind requires considering the external social world that interacts with and forms their mental content.
