Antenna polarization

Antenna polarization refers to the orientation of the electromagnetic waves that antennas emit or receive. It can be horizontal, vertical, or circular, depending on how the waves are aligned. For example, a horizontal antenna is designed to communicate best with other horizontal antennas, while a vertical antenna works best with vertical ones. Proper matching of polarizations improves communication efficiency and signal strength. In practical terms, using the right polarization helps minimize interference and can enhance the quality of wireless signals, such as those in radio, television, and mobile communications.
